Saturday, April 15 at 2p.m., Toby's Gallery: Composing Ourselves in Times
of Change - a live spoken and sung word event at this month-long arts fest
for community repose, featuring the poetry and stories of: Julia Bartlett,
Nancy Bertelsen, Kris Brown, Joan Thornton, Jean Knapp, Claire Peaslee,
plus Joyce K's multi-instrumental music improvisations accompanying
Brian Kervin, Devi Weisenberg, Maureen "Mo" Blumenthal, new jazz
triptych paintings by Joe Blumenthal, and Toni Littlejohn's painting entitled: "Drumming Earth."
PLUS,
special appearance by West Marin's internationally recognized
singer-songwriter Harmony Grisman premiering new material from her
upcoming CD. Donations welcome. (A fundraising invitation and pre-order

Sunday, April 16 - Saturday April 22 (except for Thursday, April 20),
daily at 3:00-5:00p.m. Toby's Gallery, Composing Ourselves in Times of
Change; Daily Arts for Everyone. Join composer/multi-instrumentalist Joyce
K in creating music, art, and poetry amid a beautiful display of
art in Toby's Gallery! Instruments available or bring your own. All levels

Saturday, April 22, 2p.m. Composing Ourselves in Times of Change: Student
Showcase, Toby's Gallery. Come support the upcoming generation of
musicians including San Domenico High School drummer Josh Rowe performing
with fellow high school jazz stars Zane Hornick and Grant Gelardi.

Saturday, April 29, 2p.m. Toby's Gallery: Composing Ourselves in Times of
Change: Jazz-in-the-Spirit with jazz masters Mary Watkins, Cheri Anderson,
and Joyce Kouffman. An uplifting Jazz Journey to rejuvenate our spirits.
